Ford Model A Gasifier

The original Ford Model A was the first car produced by Ford Motor Company, which started production in 1903. The Model A was the second huge success for the Ford Motor Company, and replaced the amazing Model T, which had been in production for 18 years.

This 1929 Ford Model A is from Spain and was produced in the Barcelona assembly plant and the car pictured here was fitted with a gasifier unit after manufacture.  This was also the period when Spain was experiencing a civil war and fuel supplies were pretty limited which likely led to the retro fit.
